Louisville, Kentucky

Homeplate, made up of duo David Newman (guitar/vocals) and Cody Thompson (drums), bring a nostalgic and high energy mix of heavy breakdowns, catchy pop punk melodies, some tasteful horns, and raw emotion that could make a grown man cry.

They recently released a pop punk-style single of the song "So Far Away" by Christian hard rock band, Red.  Their style of faith-based easycore will please fans of New Found Glory, Chunk, No Captain Chunk!, These Hearts, or At the Wayside.

Homeplate released their latest EP, “Welcome to Breitenstein”, on 18 Jan 2022 via Small Step Records.
